What inspired you to become a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Windsor Essex?
I know how important it is for kids to have someone to look up to and wanted to be a role model for a child in the community!
What are some of your favourite activities to do with your Mentee/Little?
My little and I enjoy exploring new places, playing catch, and catching each other up on all the “tea” that has happened since we last hung out.
What is one memory with your Mentee/Little that still makes you smile?
It is hard to choose just one! Jamming out to Noah Kahan in the car is my favourite thing to do with my little.
What advice would you give to someone thinking about becoming a mentor with BBBSWE?
You won’t always know the perfect thing to say or do, but as long as you are trying to make a positive impact on your little, it is an incredibly rewarding honour to be a big.
