Real Canadian Superstore Holds Fundraiser BBQ for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Windsor Essex
WINDSOR-The Real Canadian Superstore located at 4371 Walker Rd. held a wonderful event on June 14, 2019 in support of Big Brother Big Sisters Windsor-Essex. The Eat Together Free BBQ held near the front entrance of the
Eating Together at the Eat Together BBQ
store and the Parking Lot brought hundreds of people together to share in good food, fun and community partnership.
Also attending was Phat Matt from Mix 96.7 who helped to promote the event on-air throughout the afternoon. The event featured free popcorn and beverages as well as a bean bag toss, sidewalk chalk drawing and a heavy dose of community spirit.
Kieran McKenzie, Director of Development and Donor Relations talked about the event: “We were thrilled when the folks at the Real Canadian Superstore approached us about sponsoring our Agency through the Eat Together BBQ. We are so thankful to Store Manager Rob Ware and Stephanie Kentner who runs the Cooking School and to the staff and volunteers who made this event a reality as well as all the folks who joined us for lunch.”
On top of throwing a great event The Real Canadian Superstore is donating this amazing, hand painted picnic table to us!
