HOLIDAY FUN FOR EVERYONE!

Terrific job by the Special Activities Committee (SAC) again this year as the 2019 Holiday Party was another #Big success. Over 300 attendees from within the Big Brothers Big Sisters family including many “Mentors” and “Mentees” came together to enjoy some holiday cheer and merriment.
The evening featured a wonderful holiday meal, music and dancing. Adding to the fun was, of course, the photo booth, which was a big hit. Everyone had the opportunity to get some zany pics to remember the evening.
As a result of CUPE 82’s generous donation every child attending the 2019 Holiday BBBSWE Holiday Party enjoyed a wonderful meal and received a book. Kieran and Becky are pictured here with Natalie Popovic (centre) from CUPE Local 82.
Every child in attendance received a book generously donated from CUPE local 82. As well CUPE funded the meal for every child in attendance. The children also received a gift bag that included slime and other toys.
Becky and Kieran are joined by Jordan Jones who dropped off dozens of coats collected by Families First of Windsor for the families we serve at BBBSWE.
Mary Vincete was also a significant contributor to the event once again this year donating $2500.00 toward ensuring that the children had a wonderful evening.
We were also excited to partner with BOTH Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Families First Windsor who collected coats that we were able to distribute at the Holiday Party for anyone who needed one.
Thank you SAC members Dhai Omar, Laura Brown, Mike Waronchak, Erica Bauer, Karie Gigniac, Marci Karol and Mary Verstick for helping to spread some holiday cheer once again for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Windsor Essex family.
