FAMILY DAY DONATION WILL HELP DELIVER PROGRAMS AND SERVICES
WINDSOR – With Family Day upon us, local entrepreneur and philanthropist Sam Sinjari is making a BIG donation of toys and games to 2 local Agencies dedicated to serving the children and youth of Windsor Essex. Both Big Brothers Big Sisters of Windsor Essex (BBBSWE) and the Windsor Essex Children’s Aid Society (WECAS) will be the recipient of dozens of toys, crafts and games that will assist both Agencies with program and service delivery to the community.
Mr. Sinjari talked about his motivation to support children and youth: “These two Agencies are on the front lines of serving children and families in our region. We all understand that family is the backbone of society, which is why I am thrilled to have the opportunity to make this investment in our collective future.”
Derrick Drouillard, Executive Director of WECAS indicates, “What better way to celebrate Family Day than by strengthening families. We are very grateful for Sam’s donation to the Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Society which will provide tools for enriching those moments between parent and child, both in the home and during their visits to our Muzzatti Centre.”
Kieran McKenzie, Director of Development and Donor Relations added: “This partnership with Mr. Sinjari will help to support programming that will impact hundreds of children across our community. These tools will help us to ignite potential in young people which in turn will deliver lasting benefits to the community as a whole. We are very grateful for this generous contribution.”
The items will be used to support programs and services delivered to the community by both BBBSWE and WECAS.
